Frank & I are leaving for Acapulco and are gathering items for our visit Orphanage Salvation Army. They are excited about our visit and so are we. I have purchased plenty of school supplies, glue, scissors, pencils, pens, white plain paper, line paper, colouring books & stickers.
I also have been in touch with an organization called Not Just Tourists Volunteers. I will be picking up a small package of bandages etc. They are an amazing organization that collects suitcases filled with medical supplies that donated. They have filed the suitcase night and have they ready for volunteers to take to other countries that can use them. This will be the page I will be updating vacation. So excited with so much adventure to discover that I don't think two weeks is going to long enough.
Need to keep packing and hope Sunwing with have passion of the extra weight.

I am a simple woman who loves making photographs and spending time with my husband and grandchildren. I am fortunate to be able to spend a good amount of time on personal projects and traveling. I make my bed in Bowmanville, Ontario but love my assignments where I have the opportunity to travel.

A pair of Redtail Hawks
This was a find by chance. I was driving north on Wilson Rd just past Beatrice in Oshawa and quickly pull over when I had seen these two together in the tree.

Baby Horned Owl
Late Saturday night of April 20 - 21, a baby horned owl fell out it's nest. The nest was getting very crowded with other baby & mamma and the really bad winds that night who knows why it fell out? Residents of Thickson Woods recuse the little thing and put it back into the closet tree. The parents continue to watch out for it and kept feeding, which was good. I returned today to find the little guy right underneath the original nest but on a lower tree. Great neighbours of the Horned Owl!
